Jesus gave this mission to His Church:
“Go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.” - Matthew 28:19–20
If you have placed your faith in Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior, baptism is your next step of obedience in following Him.
Baptism is a public declaration of your faith and a celebration of God’s work in your life (Colossians 2:12). It symbolizes your union with Christ in His death, burial, and resurrection. As the Apostle Paul writes: “We were therefore buried with Him through baptism into death in order that, just as Christ was raised from the dead… we too may live a new life.” - Romans 6:3–5
Jesus Himself modeled baptism for us. It is a sacrament that signifies our participation by faith in His saving work and our incorporation into His Body, the Church. It is a means of grace, strengthening and encouraging us in our walk with Him.
If you’re ready to take this next step, we invite you to sign up for baptism.
